Our mission is simple: help as many veterans as we can start their own food truck business while feeding as many people in need as possible. This is grounded in the experience of our CEO, Lt. Jordan Foley, who had one of the sailors under his command die by suicide following the collapse of his culinary business. Frustrated with the superficial nature of many organizations that claim to help veterans, Jordan decided to start one that takes a holistic approach to veteran support. Chow is also founded on a commitment to building community. Through our Kitchen with a Mission project, we've been able to double our impact by not only teaching our fellows how to cook for large groups, but also feeding those in need right here in Anne Arundel County. We've seen tremendous support in our very short time as a company because we have short term and long term positive impacts on the community. Chow has had tremendous success in the world of entrepreneurial pitch competitions, and we strongly believe this is due to our mission of helping veterans, military spouses, and those fighting food insecurity through direct, hands-on programming that focuses on the comprehensive needs of an individual trying to start their own business.
