The Spirit Club Foundation Wishlist
The Spirit Club Foundation (SCF) enriches our local community by providing access to fitness and wellness opportunities for Maryland residents with disabilities. Rather than offering direct services, they award scholarships to individuals to participate in programs of their choice and grants to local businesses to make their facilities and services more accessible. Here are some ways to support them:
1. Monthly Donors for Our Scholarship Program
SCF seeks ongoing monthly donors to sustain our scholarship program, providing affordable access to fitness and wellness opportunities for people with disabilities. A $50 monthly donation allows one person to participate in group fitness classes twice a week, every month. Your contribution directly supports their journey toward health and well-being.
2. Corporate Sponsorships for Fitness Festivals
SCF welcome corporate sponsorships of $3,500 to $5,000 to support our two annual Fitness Festivals, which engage nearly 300 local community members and their families at each event. These festivals feature adaptive fitness class demonstrations and connect attendees with local and statewide resources for individuals with disabilities. The events also recognize community leaders and supporters, with many local delegates and congress members in attendance. As a corporate sponsor, your organization will be prominently spotlighted in their newsletters, at the events, and within our annual report.
3. Individual Donors for Scholarships
SCF is calling for new individual donors to help us expand our scholarship fund. Every dollar raised goes toward providing scholarships to community members in Maryland, enabling them to access adaptive fitness classes of their choice. By donating, you are fostering healthier, happier communities where everyone can thrive.
4. In-Kind Donations for Events
SCF is seeking in-kind donations to raffle or auction at their events. These contributions directly support their fundraising efforts and helps them provide more scholarships to individuals with disabilities.
5. Private Foundations and Donors for Grant Programs
SCF is looking for support from private family foundations and other donors to fund their Partner Grant Program. This program helps Maryland organizations serving individuals with disabilities to establish fitness programs within their facilities, broadening their impact across the community.
